Chartered Institute of Information and Strategic Management(CIISM) formerly known as the Institute of Information and Strategic Management (IISM) is an educational institution and the largest professional body of strategic information management in Africa ( Charteredship bill HB 918). CIISM was established as an independent, non-political, non-profit making national body, the institute is governed by a council of members and recognises that information and strategic management is a multi-disciplinary field. We also work closely with other specialist institutes and associations worldwide and seek to represent an increasingly broad and diverse set of stakeholders. We are registered in Nigeria with approval from relevant authorities.

Admission into the Institute is based on prescribed qualifications and conditions approved by the council.
CIISM certification and membership are open to individuals and organizations who want to professionalize and develop their information and strategic management leadership skills for results and reward.CIISM Nigeria is affiliated with several universities and professional bodies at home and abroad.
