Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM) formerly known as Institute of Information and Strategy Management (IISM) was established as an independent, non-political, non-profit professional body, the institute is governed by the council of members who recognize that information & strategy management is a multi-disciplinary field.

Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM) was established by Act of parliament of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a Global Professional Qualifications and Membership Institute.

We also work closely with other specialist institutes and associations across the world and seek to represent an increasingly broad and diverse set of stakeholders. The membership is drawn from industry, commerce, consultancy, public sectors, and government service.

 

In addition to setting professional standards, the institute provides opportunities for short-term training. We are also committed to sensing the impulse of present and future development and practices in Information and Strategic Management, to consistently produce dynamic, high performing, and future-ready strategic managers, leaders, and consultants.

It has a distinctive focus on Professional Information and Strategic Management, Strategic Leadership, and Information Technology Consulting

Is Purposed for mobilizing, building, and supporting aspiring and practicing managers and leaders at all levels and roles to be trained and qualified in Information and Strategic Management, to become professional members and/or Licensed Chartered Information and Strategic Management Practitioners.

Helps members and licensed practitioners achieve the highest levels of professionalism and performance in their workplaces: achieving global employability, prestige, and high earning.

Is purposed as professional pacesetter and standard-bearer in Information and Strategic Management.

Aligning learning contents and qualifications with real workplace practices.

Meeting the requirements of Global Qualifications Information and Strategy Frameworks/ Accreditation Bodies and Partnership with Institutions.

Tailoring contents to continental, national and organizational experiences, and relevance and performance requirements. Collaborating with institutions and organizations for the development, planning its programs and qualifications, globally.
